Parent to parent
Built by two volleyball parents —
for volleyball parents
First to 15 isn't a big agency, and it isn't software built by people who've never sat in a folding chair for a 12-hour tournament day.
Our story
We've sat where you're sitting
We're a husband-and-wife team who live this world. We went through the scramble of pulling together marketing materials for our own player — the late nights organizing film, the spreadsheets that never quite came together, the feeling of walking into a big tournament knowing her story wasn't packaged the way it should be.
And we realized how many parents around us were stuck in the same place: great kids, real talent, and no organized way to market them.
So that's the business. Parents helping parents market their players — get the data together, build a profile that stands out, do the research, and walk into every tournament, camp, and showcase ready. Especially when the match comes down to the race to 15.
goes here
Broadcast professional and former collegiate athlete with countless hours of film study in his career — and a volleyball dad. He's the researcher and video guy, the one who will happily dig through rosters and program pages to find where a player truly fits, then cut the reel that shows it.
VP of her company in her regular life — and a former all-state volleyball player and collegiate athlete. She's the eye for what looks right and reads clearly to a busy college coach. If a profile doesn't make sense at a glance, it goes back until it does.
What we don't do
- We don't contact coaches. The research and the profile go to you as intel — you own every relationship. Your daughter's story should come from her family, not a third party.
- We don't make promises about outcomes. Nobody can promise a roster spot. We promise sharp, honest marketing — the best version of her real game, on film and on paper.
- We don't pad numbers. Every measurable is verified and dated. Coaches spot inflated profiles in seconds, and credibility is everything.
- We don't share your data. Her film, her stats, her academics — they go to First to 15 and nowhere else.
Questions parents ask
Straight answers
Do you place players with college programs?
No — it's a marketing service. We market your player: her profile, her film, her story, and research on the programs that fit. We don't place players, and we never contact coaches or schools on your behalf.
We already have Hudl. Why do we need this?
Hudl is a tool — we're the done-for-you service on top of it. We do the tagging, cut the reels, keep the channels current, and research the programs. Most parents buy the tool and never find the hours to use it. That's the gap we fill.
What kind of film do you need?
Phone or iPad video shot reasonably close to the court — MP4 or whatever your phone saves. Wide-angle livestream footage from the rafters can't be cut into reliable highlight reels, so the closer the camera, the better the reel. Send what you have and we'll tell you honestly what we can build from it.
How is this different from the big marketing companies?
One flat price, no sales calls, no tiered upsells, no contracts that are hard to cancel. We're two parents doing the work ourselves — and everything we build for your daughter is yours to keep, whatever you decide next.
When should we start?
The earlier the better — marketing compounds. A freshman with an organized profile and a growing film library walks into every season ahead of the families starting from scratch as juniors. But it's never too late to get organized; the best time after "two years ago" is now.
Who sees our files?
Only First to 15. Files come in through a private Dropbox link — no account needed on your end — and her film, stats, and academics are never shared, sold, or posted anywhere without your say-so.
Do you work with boys / other sports?
Yes — boys volleyball is absolutely in scope, and we're open to other sports too, wherever our college and professional experience fits what your athlete needs. If you're not sure, ask us and we'll give you a straight answer.
Let's market her game.
Two volleyball parents, one flat price, and a profile that proves what she can do at a glance.
